“Jankavi Bhikhari Thakur Lok Sahitya aur Sanskritik Manch” has demanded that the movies made by producer Abhay Sinha should be banned in Bihar and Jharkhand. The plea for ban has been sent to the Bihar-Jharkhand Motion Picture Association. In the plea given to the Chairman of the Bihar-Jharkhand Motion Picture Association, Dr. Sunil, the chairman of the “Jankavi Bhikhari Thakur Lok Sahitya aur Sanskritik Manch” Lalan Rai and secretary Krishna Kumar Vaishnavi said that, Abhay said had made a film “Bidesiya” based on the story of the Shakespeare of Hindi literature Bhikhari Thakur which a violence of the copyright act. Grandson of the great poet, Rajendra Thakur had filed a case in Chapra (Bihar) court 63 under the copyright act against Abhay Sinha. The judge of Chapra, Brijesh Kumar looking over the case has issued warrant against producer Abhay Sinha, writer Ranjan Kumar Singh and Yashi Films. Based on the courts ongoing in this case, the “Jankavi Bhikhari Thakur Lok Sahitya aur Sanskritik Manch” has asked the Bihar-Jharkhand Motion Picture Association not to release any films of the filmmaker Abhay Sinha until justice is done to the family of Bhikhari Thakur.
