Namvar Singh Announces the Release of First Bhojpuri Ghazal Album

Well known Bhojpuri poet Manoj Bhawuk’s first Bhojpuri ghazal album “Tasveer Zindagi ke” was released by famous litterateur and critic Dr. Namvar Singh in Hindi Bhavan in New Delhi.

In this first Bhojpuri ghazal album, which has been released by T-series, there are eight ghazals penned by Bhavuk, which has been sung by the young and talented Bollywood singer Saroj Suman. The concept for the album is by the chairman of Pratibha-Janani Seva Sansthan, Manoj Singh Rajput. The national co-ordinator of the Pratibha-Janani Seva Sansthan, Ashutosh Kumar Singh has composed the album.

The album was released on the occasion of Dr. Namvar Singh’s 88th birthday at Hindi Bhavan, which was organized by the International Kishan Parishad. There were three events held on this occasion – first birthday celebrations, second, inauguration of the ghazal album and third the poetry forum.

Many high profile dignitaries attended the event from the world of literature like – Dr. Lakshmi Shankar Vajpayee (famous ghazal connoisseur and center head of Akashvani, Delhi), Akashvani poet Ram Avtar and Dr. Hari Singh Pal, Dr. Chandra Sen of the Hindi Academy, GM of NTPC N.N. Mishra, Yogesh Chandra Bhargav from Manjuli publication. Om Tiwari from Bhilwara, Ishwar Chandra Gambhir and Manoj Kumar Manoj from Meerut, Dr. Lakshmi Bhatt from Dehradun, Mukesh Nirvikar from Bulandsahar, Gafil Swami from Aligarh, Sunil Hapuria, Vandana Pushpendra, and son of Alhar Bikaneri, Ashok Sharma from Hapur. These dignitaries recited poetries on the occasion.

In this poetry forum, Manoj Bhawuk recited his ghazals for the audience reacting to which Dr. Namvar Singh said that, you are doing wonders in Bhojpuri. He also said that whenever our language is in danger, we have to rely on our regional languages. Manoj Bhawuk is a talented and successful poet of Bhojpuri.

Litterateur Surendra Sarthak ran the programme and the chairman of International Kishan Parishad, Dr. Chandramani Brahmdatt, gave the thank you speech.
