Monica Singh is a well known face in the Bhojpuri Film industry today. She made her acting debut in the Dheeraj Kumar directed film “Elaan” opposite superstar of Bhojpuri cinema Manoj Tiwari.
Currently Monica is shooting for “Teri Kasam” opposite another superstar of the industry Khesharilal Yadav. “Teri Kasam” is being made by director-producer Anil Sinkar whose earlier release was “Gajab Siti Mare Saiyaan Pichware“. His forthcoming release “Teri Kasam” is said to be a masala movie full of action and romance.
Though the beautiful star Monica Singh is originally from Dehradun, she says that her heart and soul is now all for Bhojpuri cinema as this where she got all the name and fame of a star. Monica says that she owes all that she has to the Bhojpuri film industry. Monica after completing her education from Dehradun, went to Mumbai for acting. She has acted in many Hindi movies and television serials. On television she has acted with famous director Muzaffar Ali in “Coolie”, “Ghar Ek Sapna” on Sahara One with Kriti Saha, in “Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai” and “Choona Hai Asmaan” aired on Star Plus, “Badka Sahab” on Mahua TV and Doordarshans “Adhoora Bandhan”. She has also acted in four Hindi films “Admission Open”, “Tommorrow”, “The Thirteen Day” and “Shakal Pe Mat Jaa”.
According to Monica, however, the love and affection that she has got in the Bhojpuri cinema is close to her heart. The sexy star till now has two releases in Bhojpuri, “Elaan” with director Dheeraj Kumar and Baljeet Singh’s “Gajab Siti Maare Saiyaan Pichware”.
